Sharing your book

Open your project and tap Invite. You get a link you can paste into a text message, an email or a Facebook post. Anyone with the link can add photos and write a memory — they do not need to create an account.

Setting a deadline

A deadline does two things: it tells people when to reply by, and it lets us send reminders a week before and the day before to contributors who have followed your project or started a page but not finished it.

After the deadline passes, the project stops accepting new contributions.

Approving what comes in

Everything a contributor sends waits for your approval before it appears in the book. Nothing is published to your pages without you seeing it first.

You get one email each morning at 8am listing everything still waiting for you, rather than a message per contribution — a busy project would otherwise fill your inbox. Content that gets flagged is the exception and reaches you straight away.

Seeing where things stand

Your project page lists everyone you have invited and whether they have joined.
