An amber Low res badge means the photo's shorter side is under 800 pixels — not enough detail to print sharply at any size, and less than a modern phone produces.
On screen it may look fine. In print the same photo tends to look blurry, fuzzy, soft, grainy or pixelated, because a printed page packs far more detail into the same space than a screen does.
Click any photo you have placed on a page to open the zoom window. There you can zoom and reposition what sits inside the frame, rotate it, and adjust brightness and contrast.
Those adjustments are yours to make — we do not alter your photos automatically. What we do handle for you is framing: when we detect a face, we position the photo so the face sits in the middle of its frame rather than being cropped off-centre.
