If you're working toward a memorial service, we can rush print and ship a hardcover in about a week. You set the contribution deadline when you create the project — we'll handle reminder emails for you.

How do friends and family contribute photos and stories?

You share one invite link by text, email, or social media. Anyone with the link can upload photos and write memories from a phone, tablet, or computer — no app to download. They can write their own story, attach a photo, add the date or location, and the contribution is saved to your project automatically.

Do contributors need to create an account?

Contributors only enter their name and email so you know who shared each memory. There's no password to remember and no app to install — they click your invite link, upload, and they're done.

What if a contributor isn't comfortable with technology?

The contributor flow is designed for grandparents and tech-shy relatives. The invite link opens a simple page with one big upload button. If someone can't manage it on their own, sit down with them and fill it in together — the form asks who the memory is from, so their page still goes into the book under their name.

Can I review submissions before they go in the book?

Yes. As project owner you see every contribution in your dashboard and can approve, edit, or hide anything before printing. Contributors can also mark a submission as private to the family if they prefer.

What photobook format and size is available?

Memory Booked prints a premium 10-inch square hardcover photobook, designed to be passed down for generations — coated matte pages, case binding, and a matte-laminate cover with a printable spine. You can see the full details on our printing options page.

How much does a Memory Booked memorial photobook cost?

A printed hardcover is $34.95 for the first 20 pages, then $1.25 for each page beyond that, plus shipping. The more memories your community contributes, the bigger the book — a 60-page book works out to $84.95. You'll see the exact price during the print order step before you pay.

Can I get the book in time for a funeral or celebration of life?

Yes. We offer rush printing for memorial services. Hardcover books typically ship within five to seven business days of your final approval. Tell us your service date when you create the project and we'll prioritize accordingly.

What happens after the contribution deadline?

On your deadline, contributions close and the book moves to the design stage. Memory Booked lays out the pages automatically using your contributors' photos and stories — you can review the layout, make changes, and approve before anything is printed.

How does Gift a Page work?

Gift a Page lets friends and family chip in toward the cost of printing instead of sending flowers. Anyone visiting the public project page can give $1.25 (one page) or more, and the contribution is applied directly to the book's print cost. It's a meaningful alternative to a sympathy bouquet — and it lasts forever.
