In October 2018, our friend lost his battle with stage 4 glioblastoma at 31. We were devastated and wanted to reach out to his family, but we did not know how. Our experiences with him spanned years of memories — moments his family had never seen, and memories we would have loved to share with them, especially at the time of his death.
We had never met his family. We did not have their contact information. We did not want to intrude during such a challenging time. We wished there was a good way to help them remember David and for us to honor him.
Now there is.
Start a ProjectNo. They open your link, enter an email so you know who wrote what, and add their photos and memory. No app, no password, nothing to install.
Starting a project and collecting memories is free, and you can download a PDF of the finished book at no cost. A printed 20-page hardcover is $34.95, plus $1.25 per extra page. Friends and family can gift pages toward printing, so many books cost the organizer nothing.
About five minutes. Name the project, add a cover photo and a short message, and share the link. You can keep collecting for as long as you like before you print.
You do. Every memory waits for your approval before it appears, and you can edit the layout before ordering.
You choose how people join: an open link anyone can use, invite-only, or approve each person yourself. Only memories you approve appear in the book.
